  1. This make me think of Individuals from the Caribean islands who speak a form of English which may not always be understood. I am wondering if they have mixed other languages into their form of English or if they have created their own set of rules for engaging in conversation?

    • Good question. It’s possible that words from other languages were mixed in in the beginning, and they just became part of the dialect with their own rules for usage later.
