Why I’m Disappearing Until September

Hi, and Happy Easter and Passover to everyone celebrating this week and weekend!

I wanted to write a brief post explaining why I’ll be missing from now (read: like a month ago) until September.

I’m working on three major projects this spring and summer: starting an event planning business, getting a linguistics blog up and running, and preparing my first book for publication!

All three of these projects are really exciting, but they mean this summer is going to be incredibly busy because it will also be full of family events like weddings and graduations. I doubt I’ll be able to write and post any blog posts here, so I wanted to let you all know that I’ll be pretty absent for a while. I’m not abandoning the blog, but I want to be able to give the Decoy and the posts I have scheduled for WendelynVega.com the attention they deserve.

So I’m taking a break, and in September I’ll be back, hopefully with a lot of good news and a finished novel. Until then, I hope everyone has a great spring and summer!
